In Poland Apple Maps have really outdated data and I would like to have option to fast move with my search to other map provider (like google maps).
It could be supporting bangs in maps search box or having additional button that user can configure with his desired provider (or both).
Second option would be faster to work with, especially on mobile.

    Matrixik we already have !gm bang. Also the maps results already offer a button to open them in Google maps. Can you specify what is exactly the ask?

        I was talking about being already on https://kagi.com/maps
        Bangs are not working there.

        And now when I check it there is link to google maps visible on desktop but hidden on mobile (you need to click on the bottom popup to show it), so my fault for not finding it there. I would just prefer if clicking it could replace kagi maps page instead opening new page.

        This is view on Firefox on Android, there are some css problems (like Relevance and Rating partially cut):

          Hey Vlad,

          I would like to join/expand on Matrixik's request.

          I would like to have the option to choose the maps provider straight ahead, as with the default option (apple maps I guess) most of the business are not found and I have to manually open google maps and do the search again, which is totally unnatural and makes me go back to using google.

          I hope I was clear enough. If not, please revert.

            JosepOli That is clear (I think it is not what the original meant though). But we will be adding google map as an option soon.

                Vlad I was in the process of writing a feedback request for this ("Add Google Maps as an option in search results and at kagi.com/maps"), so I'm glad to see this is already planned. I'm happy to pay for Kagi given its superior search quality to Google, but Apple Maps is significantly behind Google Maps for my use cases.

                  Similar feedback to above. I'd like to use Kagi for search, but Apple Maps and the Kagi maps interface aren't working well for me.

                  I'd like a setting for the "Maps" search in the header to click to Google Maps. Usually the inline map is not showing for me when I'm looking for a map result, unfortunately (and the Google Maps link seems to no longer show there anyway).

                  Missing Google Maps data on search results pages (reviews, my saved places, Google streetview, user generated imagery) is a major downside of Kagi for me. Having a quick link to Google Maps will partially work around this.

                  I would like the option to set a default maps provider, Apple Maps sucks in India, I have to use Google Maps. The bang workaround is too tedious.

                    We now have a switch to switch to different maps (Google and Open street map) directly in the Maps interface. Closing this.
