Safari extension doesn't make it clear you have to enable it in app

Kagi Safari extension instructions only tell people to enable the extension in Settings -> Safari -> extensions. But you need to enable it inside the Safari app too, otherwise it won't work.

I suggest to improve the instructions shown after installing the extension.

This should not be necessary. Enabling the Kagi Search extension in Settings -> Safari -> Extensions -> Kagi Search should mirror the setting in Safari -> Address Bar Menu Button -> Manage Extensions

nanoscrew hi, thanks for your reply but this wasn't the case for me and at least another user (which had the same issue, mentioning "safari extension doesn't work", then I helped them by telling this and even in their case the extension was disabled in app).

In my case I'm using iOS 17, but I'm not sure about them. Should we mark this as a bug maybe?

andreagrandi Weird! Yes lets mark this as a bug. If it's not too much to ask, a video showing the flow of installing the extension, enabling in settings, then showing how Safari doesn't have it enabled, might be useful to submit a bug to the WebKit/Safari teams.
