Expert and fast bangs redirect to default mode

Steps to reproduce:
Use the !expert or !fast bang with a prompt.

Expected behavior:
Use one of the research models.

I’ve found that (and I have Ultimate):

!fast and !expert don’t actually change the assistant mode. The search ends up using whatever I used last.

If I last used Fast mode and search for ‘!expert test’ then I’ll get the results in Fast mode irrespective of the bang. The same happens the other way around too.

tekacs do you have "Preferred Assistant mode" at https://kagi.com/settings?p=assistant set to last used?

seems to be the case for all assistant bangs i.e. !custom, !code, !chat

!code, !chat, and !custom work properly for me. !expert, and !fast revert to the last used.
