Weather widget should specify where "Current location" is

Steps to reproduce:
Search for "weather".

Expected behavior:
Weather widget showing weather at my current location, with the name of location spelled out, not just "Current location".

In Chrome, I get weather at my location. In Orion, I get the wrong weather results, but I'm not sure where they are.

Could you try loading our IP address widget, and see if it mentions a location? https://kagi.com/search?q=what+is+my+ip

We use an offline GeoIP database to try and pick a relevant location for the widget, which should also be mentioned in our IP widget like so:

Can you see if it shows a location? I do not need to see the actual results, you can just note your observations. That should help narrow it down.

It gives me my IPv6. IPv4 says "failed to resolve", and location is listed as "United States."

So, there's a few ways forward here I think:

If you like, I think you should be able to paste your IP on https://www.maxmind.com/en/geoip-demo/ and see what it is resolving to exactly. We have a copy of their database that we update every 2 weeks currently for our offline lookup. If that reports a meaningful location, then it could be a bug with our usage.
- Alternatively if you are comfortable, you can email me your IP to zac@kagi.com and I can take a deeper look on my own.
Regardless, we can detect that the widget's location is not specific enough, and instead of showing you the "Current location" thing, we can explain & prompt you to specify a location instead. I think we are already planning on having an option in Settings to manually specify a location to use for location-related lookups, so that may also be a resolution.

Their resolution is correct, or at least close enough. I'll follow up with you by email.
