Clicking "Appreciate" changed which page I was on

Steps to reproduce:
I tried to reproduce this but I was unable to.
I found an interesting site using "Small Web" and started perusing.
At one time I clicked "Appreciate", but then I was on a different page entirely (as if I had clicked "Next Post").
Going back in History however, I landed on the page I was on before I opened "Small Web" altogether.
Thus I was unable to locate which page I was on.

Expected behavior:
Appreciate should not change what page I am on.
Ideally, what I am looking at should be part of the URL by default!

Debug info:
Firefox 117.0 Arch Linux, Europe West 2.

After looking through the RSS feed, I found the site I was on: https://kagi.com/smallweb/?url=https://yukinu.com/blog/2023/09/09/using-a-windows-xp-theme-for-wine-applications.html& (obviously, I did not have the query part the first time).

This is the article I landed on.
Then I clicked around: I went to Wallpapers (possibly due to uBlock) -> Forum -> Blogs -> The Dead Internet.
Then I clicked Appreciate and I was on another page without being able to go back.
