Extension Requests More Permissions

Steps to reproduce:
Install the Firefox extensions, give all permissions.

Expected behavior:
No more notifications

Vlad From what I understand @kagi134 has already granted all the required permissions to the extension, but it is still asking for permissions. However, I am unable to replicate this 😅 !!

As @vicky stated, I have already granted all permissions, but I keep receiving notifications for more permissions.

Hi @vicky thanks for reporting this. I understand this is confusing, but Firefox's permission system for "the currently active tab" will always show that dot on a tab that's being visited for the first time in a given browsing session. We can't control how that displays, unfortunately.

This issue was reported at https://github.com/kagisearch/browser_extensions/issues/19 . If you don't want to use the Summarizer, you can re-install the extension and not request the extension the permission to access the active tab. That will make the dot disappear, as the extension will no longer ask for access to the current tab.
