The Wikipedia article preview in the right content box is often quite helpful for simple queries. Please make an option to have it always expanded to save a click.

Yes please. It barely shows anything, as is.
We can show a few more lines of wiki entry? how much would be enough?
I would go with the number of lines that is displayed when "expand" is clicked.

15 Lines? Or make it an option for users:
Wikipedia Preview: disabled, enabled (short), enabled (long), enabled (complete); where "long" would be "the middle ground".
Ok we will expand the default to 15 lines.
