I would love to see favicons next to my results.
Favicons just make it so much easier to see where a result is from at a glance, helping me to work faster and more efficient with a search engine. To me they are much more useful than the site info modal, which I only use for boost/lower.
The best search engine definitely needs favicons (see based DDG and less based brave search). Now that the kagi ball is gone, there is no UI excuse anymore to not have favicons. Making this opt-in would be perfectly fine in my book and I would have no problem with them being loaded with a delay (although preferably the above favicons are loaded faster than the ones at the bottom).
