It seems that the search doesn't use at all the preferred languages. You can find bellow the steps to reproduce the regional search issue, but it's also the case with the international search.
Right now, almost all of my results are German-based first.
Eg.: International (fr+en)
Search wikipedia:
- wikipedia.org + en.wikipedia are first
- de.wikipedia is shown
- fr.wikipedia is not event shown
Eg.: Regional (Switzerland) (fr+en)
Search wikipedia:
- wikipedia.org is first
- de.wikipedia is shown second
- en.wikipedia is shown third
- fr.wikipedia is shown fourth
Steps to reproduce:
- Set the country/region to Switzerland in Kagi settings
- Set the languages [fr-ch][fr][en-us][en] in browser preferences
- Search for keywords:
- gamescom (Only german and english results)
- ufc pc release (Despite it's english, it still show me results in german)
- wikipedia
...
Expected behavior:
German seems to be the preferred language for the search, and I expect it to not carry weight since it's not in my preferred languages.
By setting the search to international, en.wikipedia is first, de.wikipedia is shown, but fr.wikipedia is not even shown.

- OS : Windows 11
- Header sent: fr-CH,fr;q=0.8,en-US;q=0.5,en;q=0.3
- Server: EUROPE-WEST2
