Slow image search (2.5-3.5 seconds)

Steps to reproduce:
Search for any images. Assorted test queries have included "australian possum", "axolotl", "explosion", anything really.
If you refresh, the search is super fast. Only fresh queries are slow.

Expected behavior:
Note that the website loads almost immediately (100ms), but results take almost 3 seconds to appear.
The websocket (https://kagi.com/socket/images?q=...&nonce=...) takes ~2.7 seconds to connect

Debug info:
Firefox, Windows 10, Australia, ASIA-SOUTHEAST, Network latency: 128ms

I haven't seen any recent mentions of this, and if someone arrives here looking for information about their slow image searches, a new bug report should be made.

Yes, there's been significant gains in image search speed in the past year. It's still slow, but perceptually, sub-2 seconds seems like a bit of a key point where it's just fast enough to not bother me most of the time.
