Steps to reproduce:
Change your search while using Safari on an iPhone

Expected behavior:
Safari doesn’t zoom into the text field and I don’t have to zoom out after searching.

Debug info:
Safari iOS 16.4.1

    Does that not look like a Safari issue to you?

      I’m not sure if it’s a safari issue but I don’t encounter it on other mobile optimized websites.

        KFCPredator I am not experiencing this in Orion Browser on iOS for example and we do not have website feature that zooms into the input field. Can you try it in Orion too?

              Setting the font size to normal fixed the issue. However I prefer a smaller font,

                When tapping into the search bar on iOS (Safari and Orion) the page zooms in on Kagi.

                I would expect the page to not zoom when tapping in, or to zoom back out. It’s just kinda annoying that the page zooms in and I’d like to be able to see the full loaded screen.

                  I think it's automatic on iOS when the input field has a text size smaller than 16px. Solved by making the text size bigger.

                    carl ah, so maybe not something you can solve in Kagi, since I have medium text size on maybe?

                        carl that fixes it. Although if it would be possible to have smaller sizes and it not do that, make the search box text larger and everything else small, then that would be preferred to me at least.

                          Merged 4 posts from Kagi zooms into page when typing in search bar.

                            In my opinion it is Kagi who should fix this, not the end user. Considering that it's such an easy and important fix.
