Steps to reproduce:
There is a MS Exchange page from microsoft.com in the results which naturally doesn't contain "opendxl".
(at least as an optional feature) excluding results that doesn't contain all of the keywords in the summary text shown below the results.
EUROPE-WEST / International
evrenesat Search engines will often provide results that do not have all keywords on the page.
To tell Kagi what terms you want to show on the page no matter what put them in quotes, for example "opendxl" max message size
Also google has a "doesn't contain <insert term from query>" if one term is not present in the in a result.
Off-topic, but I noticed that the title of this page doesn't render properly on Orion. Is this an issue with the browser or the website? (Will post this on Orion-feedback soon)
@Vlad thank you for your reply. I'm aware of the effect of quoting and common behavior of search engines. But I expect better UX from Kagi. Quoting all of the keywords is cumbersome. Maybe a modifier like !bangs could be introduced to treat all keywords as quoted, something like: ++ foo bar to "foo" "bar"
++ foo bar
evrenesat Or a configuration option that picks a default. I would rather have all my searches quoted by default. I know that’s perhaps not common but I miss the days of boolean search.
Agree with this request. If we wanted this behavior we'd use google 😉
timthelion There is now a configuration option called Verbatim search in Filter settings. Note, this will produce significantly less results for some queries.
