It would be useful if news articles were sorted by time imo. Atm it’s all jumbled which doesn’t really make sense if you are looking for something recent

    Where is this option? News search results are sorted in apparently random order, and I see no selection for "Order By".

    +1, because w/o order by recency the news search is quite pointless. 🙁 This is something that prevents me from switching completely from Google to Kagi (looking for local news).

    Steps to reproduce:
    <Include steps to reproduce the bug.>
    Search in 'News'.

    Expected behavior:
    <What you expected to happen?>
    I expected the ability to search for 'News' in chronological order, sorted by newest news first. This is not an option, that I can find.

    Debug info:
    <Browser/OS/Active Kagi region setting/What Kagi server you connect to (found in control center, top right icon)>
    Connected to: US-WEST

    Image/Video:
    <Copy/paste or drag and drop to upload images or videos (up to 20MB)>
    Someone else reported this, and the ticket is marked as 'fixed' — maybe the fix never reached US-WEST?

      News should be able to be filtered by time such as past 24 hours, past week, past month or a user specified range. This will allow you to more easily find news articles from a certain period without the clutter of non news article from a regular web search. I see web, images and videos have this filtering feature, why not news?

      Currently google allows you to filter the searches in the news section by recency, relevance and news topic. kagi should allow you to do the same

      Merged 1 post from Time filtering for news.

        We actually do have filters for news, but a bug has been hiding it for a bit now.. 🙁
        This will be fixed in the next release!
