Custom bang URL should prepend https:// automatically

When creating a custom bang with the URL example.com/%s, the search for !example query will open kagi.com/example.com/query. It's probably always the user's intention to actually open example.com/query which would be achieved by converting the URL automatically to https://example.com/%s.

To get the previous behaviour one could still use the URL kagi.com/example.com/%s.

Vlad I like your approach. The URL field could be filled with "https://" on focus, reminding the user that the schema should be there. Maybe an additional "are you sure?" upon trying to submit bang without schema in the URL could be worth considering.

I agree, that every URL must begin with a schema, but some not so tech-savvy users might not know what a schema even is. I like briskroad1698 suggestion to pre-fill the form field with https:// to make it easier not to make the mistake. Additionally, if the submitted URL doesn't begin with a schema, one could be added silently or with confirmation with a dialog/red text below the form field.

I would still leave the possibility of creating a bang without a schema that would work just as links without schema do in browsers: go on top of the domain. That could be handy in some situations.
