- Click an item on a search results pages
- Click the browser's back button to return to the search results page
- Try to enter a new search
- Clicking the search button doesn't work; pressing enter sometimes takes you to the selected site but doesn't activate a new search
Expected behavior:

I expect to be given a new search result based on my query in the search box

Firefox 91.5.0esr (64-bit)/ Debian 10/ US / US-WEST
I do have a number of add-ons in firefox and I think some of them could be interfering. I have tried to reproduce the problem on my package manager's (outdated) chromium package, as well as using the same version of firefox-esr but with a fresh profile.
