A friend happened across an image-search situation where Kagi did far worse than Google, so it seems worth taking note of.
The search term was "beige" fluke digital multimeter click buttons.

By contrast, Kagi came up completely empty: https://kagi.com/images?q=%22beige%22+fluke+digital+multimeter+click+buttons
The blankness problem appears to be the quotes in the search term -- Google appropriately parsed that, but it seems to have killed the Kagi search.
Removing the quotes allows the search to proceed, but I don't see the desired hit anywhere in the results. (So there might be two separate issues here, one deterministic and one about search quality.)
Might be related to https://kagifeedback.org/d/3387-no-search-results-found/107, but that's so old that I'm not sure.
Kagi should have found something -- ideally as good as Google, but beyond that it shouldn't have come up blank like this.
