Text stays in input box after sending

After sending a message, the text stays in the input box. Android App version 1.2.0 (186)

ickybus I'm not able to reproduce it with 1.2.0 (186) on Android.

How do you submit the text? Do you have any special keyboard? Does it happen with all models? Could you share a video?

i do not have a special keyboard; i just use the default keyboard (samsung). it happens across multiple models - both kagi quick and my default custom as well as other custom models. it does not happen every time, but probably 70% of the time.

I'm experiencing this as well, especially if a response was interrupted - if I for example hit stop or edit buttons to change the prompt. It may also have something to do with copy and pasting content into the query box but I'm not sure

I experience this regularly as well on stock pixel android. It's very frustrating. It happens multiple times a day. No special keyboard.

The input box only clears if the message ends in a space or newline. Any other final character (letter, period, ?) leaves the text in the box. (Note that completing a word using a dictionary automatically adds a trailing space.)

Keyboard: default Samsung
Submit method: send button. (Enter inserts a newline rather than sending, so I don't use it to submit.)
Models: not model-specific as far as I can tell.
After it happens: I have to prepare the next message by editing the leftover text.
