Currently the conversation feature works quite well for me in actually understanding and translating, and the way you can set it to split screen text view for each person is very useful.
But what I don't like, is you can't turn off the voice. This causes two problems, first of all usually the other person has already read the text before the voice even starts, so it just interrupts the conversation. Secondly, for some languages, the voice is either poor or entirely wrong (Korean).
Just a button to turn off voice, so it simply records your voice, translates to text, records the other person's voice, translates to text, and stays silent.
