Say I have Kagi Assistant open on my phone. I flip to another application for a minute or two, and come back. Or I turn off the phone for a few minutes, then reopen to Assistant.
Either way, Kagi Assistant insists on completely reloading its state (as far as I can tell) -- the text goes away and it shows gray loading animations for a while, to get back to where it had been. It seems like if I'm in a location with mediocre service, this can take a fair while: I've been observing load times of 5-15 seconds regularly.
I assume that the motivation here is to resync with Kagi, in case the session has been edited elsewhere in the meantime. But it's absolutely maddening when I've already built a fairly complex answer and I just want to come back to it repeatedly.
(When I'm traveling, this problem is super-common, and extremely annoying -- I've usually planned out a lot, and just want to reopen my current session frequently to consult the details in there.)
If I'm in the middle of a Kagi Assistant session -- especially if I've just been in it within, say, the past hour -- I expect locally-cached conversation information to show up more or less instantly. (Maybe with something after the thread, saying that it is resyncing and please wait before continuing the conversation.)
