Unable to log in with security key

I am unable to log in with my security key passkey on the Kagi Translate iOS app. See the below for reference. To be clear, my security key is NFC-compatible and I have previously used it to log in to Kagi Search on Safari.

I am unsure if this relates to the recent app update today, as I hadn't used the Kagi Translate app until prior to security key introduction.

I believe it has to do with the introduction of security keys before adding support for it in the apps.

The apps will be updated soon to support security keys and passkeys. Until then, please use another login option.

Yes, the apps do not support passkey at the moment due to how they currently present the login page.
We're working on updating the apps to support the new auth flows which will make this work, but for now you have to use a password or another form of login for the apps specifically.

pixel What is the ETA? It would’ve been good to have a warning of this current limitation when I was removing all login options apart from passkey.
