I've been experiencing an issue with Kagi Translate since around September 22.
Short and simple sentences are translated normally. However, longer texts and context-heavy dialogue, such as character dialogue with distinctive speech patterns, frequently return the original text unchanged instead of translating it.
This is new behavior. I have regularly used Kagi Translate for these kinds of texts before, including texts close to the 20,000-character limit, and they translated normally.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Kagi Translate.
Manually select the source and target languages.
Enter a longer text or context-heavy dialogue.
Start the translation.
The translation appears to process, but the output is identical to the original text.
Simple sentences still translate correctly.
I have reproduced the same issue in:
Chrome
Chrome Incognito mode
Samsung Internet
So it does not appear to be specific to my Chrome cache or browser session.
I am a paid Kagi Starter subscriber.
The issue started around my September 22 billing/renewal date. My recent Starter invoices also unexpectedly show $0.00 as paid. I don't know whether this is related to the translation issue, but I'm mentioning it in case it is relevant.
This has now been happening consistently for several days.
