I’ve started using the assistant on iOS recently and found it to be much better than Siri for answering general queries. I’d like to be able to use it in place of Siri for this on my watch, but it looks like the app doesn’t support watchOS. Is there any possibility of adding a Kagi Assistant app for Apple Watch?
Right now, I can press and hold the crown on my Apple Watch or tap a widget to launch Siri. My understanding is that some queries can run locally, while others require an internet connection. There is also an app that allows you to review and continue past conversations.
With Kagi, I was envisioning a scaled-down version of the mobile app and a widget that just immediately starts a new conversation on launch. I imagine you wouldn’t be able to run locally, so maybe it could defer to Siri as a fallback when internet isn’t available?
The conversation history/state should ideally also be synced with the mobile app, and it may need to access the agent by proxying through the phone via Bluetooth when direct internet access isn’t available.
