Appending reddit to query does not have the expected outcome

When I use "opus 4.8 reddit" (without quotes) the first N results (pretty high number here) are overwhelmingly from sites that mention reddit. Prior to today, Kagi would bring results from reddit itself.

I'm not sure I understand the problem, but wouldn't making a custom reddit lens solve the issue?

serefarikan I have added reddit as a Quick Snap in Settings, so when I type "open 4.8 reddit" the query turns into "opus 4.8 site:www.reddit.com" automatically.

Without the snap, the number of Reddit results would depend on the upstream search providers.
