Some directions providers include maneuvers in jurisdictions where they are illegal. GraphHopper and Mapbox both say to take U-turns (Apple Maps does not) when they are illegal in Alberta (subject to exceptions, British Columbia, Saskatchewan, and Yukon Territory. The only exception in B.C. I'm aware of is a few intersections in Surrey with signs permitting U-turns for vehicles that do not exceed the posted weight and height limits.
Routes that include U-Turns where they are prohibited should be excluded from results. I'm not sure if Kagi hosts an instance of GraphHopper, but if you do, it could probably be modified to not make U-turns in these Canadian provinces and apparently also Taiwan (the latter of which I haven't tested).
