I randomly noticed this today while working on an accessibility-related user script. I disabled all user scripts then restarted the browser to sanity check; and indeed pressing C on the search results page opens the control center. I have keyboard shortcuts disabled in my Kagi settings. I suspect this to be an oversight or bug.
I'm using a Firefox-based browser - currently LibreWolf.
I expect nothing to happen when keyboard shortcuts are disabled.
