Two related issues are making "Search threads" (within Assistant) difficult for me to use.
Sometimes (not always), typed text takes a very long time (30 seconds) to appear in the text input field.
As soon as I click on a search result, the results list disappears, and getting it back requires a whole new search. So, if I want to look at a few different results, I need redo the search for each result I want to look at. If the lag in text entry is also occurring, then I need to be very patient.
I took a screen recording of this, don't want to show my assistant threads to the whole world, but I'm happy to share privately with Kagi staff, if you tell me how.
Using Firefox here. # 2 reproduces in both Firefox 140 (current ESR release for Debian) and Firefox 154.0 (Android).
I think "fixed" would look like:
- The text input field is responsive
- Search takes a few seconds at most
- Results listing persists after I click on a thread to look at it, and allows me to look at multiple results per search.
