Steps to reproduce:
Using the suggested redirect for reddit (^https://www.reddit.com|https://old.reddit.com) and then having a "Discussions" result for reddit.com leads to the original www. URL. I understand this result is not in the search results itself, it feels jarring as that is my specified behaviour in my redirect rule.
Expected behavior:
www. be redirected to old.
