I wish to have an Appearance Setting that shows the price/cost of a chat next to it in the interface. Currently, if I want to check how much of the monthly budget a chat used up I need to:
Click on the assisstant settings button, from there click to get to the account settings, then click to get to the billing, and then try to remember how much was used up before I started a session (or have that looked up before, which I did't).
This is especially annoying ever since the interface changed such that the Assisstant Settings have a UI separated from the account settings. So the Assisstant Settings are accessed from the bottom left corner, while in the Kagi Search Interface Settings are accessed from the top right. Which is inconsistent. I strongly dislike having the access to the Settings menu in the bottom left, especially since in the Tab-Sidebar in Firefox does so too, so it is easy to misclick. But the only reason I often go that path is to look up how much a chat did cost, so if that lookup got easy, then I wouldn't be bothered as much.
Thank you though for offering the Assisstant Interface. Your "Research" Assisstant works quite well.
If the budget of a billing period is almost used up, Kagi Assisstant shows a box that warns the user about that. One could add an option in the Appearance Settings to have, similarly, a permanent status bar above the Text Input box, that gives some information permanently like the total cost of the current chat, and/or how much budget for the current billing period is left.
