I noticed that when searching on mobile Chrome with no JS, it always searches using the normal route and then redirects to the /html route. This seems unnecessary. Because my internet connection right now is sort of terrible, it's pretty noticeable.
It would be ideal if the custom engine that shows up in the search settings would be the /html route if you search with the /html route. I'm admittedly not sure how Chrome decides what to use, so maybe this isn't as straightforward as it seems.
Presumably it'd function in pretty much exactly the same way as the current search, just without a redirect on every search from the omnibar or whatever it's called. I'd assume the search engine that shows up would be called "Kagi (no JS)" or "Kagi (HTML)" or something to that effect.
