When searching for "jennifer rush", I got three unrelated hits but "Jennifer rush" or "jennifer Rush" got more hits (mostly relevant).
A completely wild guess is that some index didn't return anything briefly, resulting in the bad SERP?
IF it was a failure in some call to some API, that should probably be highlighted somehow ("we couldn't quite get all the search results for you, try again in a minute!").
