Please, for the love of god, give us a way to disable this. This is a terrible feature. All it does is paste text into the chat. If I want to do that, which is rare, I can hit ctrl+c, ctrl+v very easily. Instead I now have to dodge the ask button EVERY time I select text. I was going to actually file this as a bug this is such a terrible anti-feature, but I see zacstewart already filed a request for this.
I see he filed this issue on 8/11, which is interesting because I've been using assistant heavily and only just noticed it today, so I guess it must be slowly rolling out. Please, please either remove this or at the very least give us a way to disable it. I do not need, do not want, a useless button popping up and hiding text and getting in my way when I want to click or select something else and hit it by mistake. I've had to deal with this in one chat and it's already maddening, giving off horrible Microsoft vibes with all their popup nonsense every time you select or paste something.
Please reconsider this.
