ASwat I don't know when Kagi search first started doing this, but it's annoyed me ever since I noticed it long ago. I believe it was when the Verbatim filter was added. When I search for something, I like to read what the webpage actually says in the results, before I choose one. I don't want an external source summarizing it. Every other search engine shows legitimate page information, like used to be the norm. I've attached pictures of search results for "leaving las vegas" across different engines. Look at Kagi's not verbatim search returns. Separate the search filter and the search result settings for Vebratim. Using proposed feature: the response from a webpage is the same as other search engines' results. The actual pages that are returned shouldn't change, just the little blurb about them. I've attached screenshots of the same search across different engines, to show how Kagi differs. Kagi's summary also bugged out, as can be seen in the not verbatim screenshot.
ASwat Here are some other not verbatim searches breaking. I've never seen lorem ipsum. . . or "retrieved from" until this week. Something must have broken recently. Regardless, separate verbatim search and verbatim result.
