Android no longer supports opening links in external browser

The Android app used to have a setting to control whether links opened in app or in the external browser. This has been replaced by an option that only allows opening in a separate tab in the in app browser, and a formerly set preference for the external browser is no longer respected.

The ability to directly open links in an external browser is important enough of a feature to me that I will cancel my subscription if this option is not restored.

I expect the setting I previously made to open links externally to continue to be respected.

So, I just tested it in a fresh install on Android. I logged in, searched for "test", tapped the first result, and it opened in an external browser (Firefox).
