Reinstate the ability to take bulk actions on Assistant threads in the sidebar: deleting, adding to a folder, exporting, etc.
Note that this will make the Assistant not only more convenient and efficient, but also more accessible, since, currently, acting on many threads requires a lot of clicking and visual tracking.
(This was requested in April 2025, implemented and marked "Done" in July 2025, then by May 2026 it had been removed.)
You could go back to checkboxes with a "selection mode," activated from a three-dot menu, perhaps next to the current new-thread icon in the sidebar.
It would be cool to also have the ability to command-click-select and shift-click-select—but I would want there to also be a checkbox option, because it's easy for butterfingers types like me to accidentally un-select everything when making a lot of non-contiguous selections.
