Kagi should use current location and location popularity as context when displaying the weather.
I am currently in the San Francisco Bay Area in California, yet when I type "sf weather" I get the weather for Santa Fe Province, Argentina instead of San Francisco, California.
When I type in "oakland weather" I get the weather for Oakland County, Michigan instead of Oakland, California.
I have location-based results turned on in settings, so I expected the weather widget to take my current location into account when deciding what weather to display, but it apparently doesn't.
(Just typing in "weather" does work as expected for my current city, but sometimes I want to know the weather a few cities over, and right now that doesn't always work first try)
I think most users expect weather widgets to work this way. People shouldn't have to type out the whole location for the app to understand that they're not looking for weather in a city halfway across the planet. It should be clever and use a combination of current location and popularity to best understand what the user is looking for. Google does this, see images below, compared to the Kagi results above.
