PolicyPants Sadly, I don't think that solves the issue Kagi is running into unless the credits are also used for search. For every Professional user that makes "too many" searches, which is somewhere around 1000 a month per Kagi, there has to be a user that makes fewer for Kagi to stay afloat. I assume this worked well enough. However, Kagi then bolted Translate and Assistant onto the plan for free. As a result, every use of the Assistant or Translate that did not offset a search tipped the balance in the wrong direction, that is, towards Kagi losing money.
However, I don't think that getting rid of the unlimited searches in the Professional plan would work out well for Kagi. Thus we got to a point where Translate and/or Assistant has to go. The way they go about this will likely determine the future of Kagi, and I would be happier if the discussion about the issue happened here than on Discord.
