— Entering an amount of certain units, hoping to see a conversion to the most common target, such as "140 degrees Fahrenheit" or "30 degrees celsius", results in Kagi's math widget to pop up erroneously.
— Math widget then tries to "solve" the phrase, can't do it, and gives a nonsensical answer (such as "30.00000025 degrees celsius"). I've encountered it with other units, but sadly cannot remember more examples right now.
— Also, when I write out the entire conversion query, "140 degrees Fahrenheit in Celsius"), the Wolfram-powered conversion widget will not activate anyway.
— Incomplete conversion queries like this, with a very common conversion target ("140 degrees Fahrenheit") are very common (and work in Google). I would like Kagi to guess the most likely conversion and display the proper widget.
— Failing that, I would like the Wolfram conversion widget activate on a complete query ("140 degrees Fahrenheit in Celsius"). For comparison, it WILL activate for a similar query like "3 atmospheres in pascals".
Summing up, I see two issues here.
- Improper widget activation that tries to solve something that's not a math expression. That query is also one of the most common incomplete conversion queries (Fahrenheit is almost always converted to Celsius; you can find other "default" conversions like this).
- No widget activation for the same super common conversion even spelled out fuly, even though conversion widget exists and works.
