I typed +1(405) location to know what state has that phone number code, and it returned nothing. I believe it was trying to do a math calculation of the first part, then the second part is not composed of numbers, so it got confused.

I expected it to return websites that map phones numbers to the states they are from, but I got nothing.

The issue seems to be + is interpreted as a special search operator:

+ and - — Finds webpages that contain or exclude a term or phrase, for example: food +cat -dog

There are a few work-arounds:

just omit the +: 1(405) location
quote the +: '+1'(405) location
