The "Popular Areas" feature of Kagi maps seems to not work in Japanese cities. The map overlay just doesn't appear, even though the option is activated. It'd be useful to have it, to plan travel.
To replicate the issue: zoom in on any major Japanese city, with the option activated.
The popular areas layer should also work in Japanese cities.
