Two Kagi assistant threads were automatically removed even though they were configured to be permanent.
I created three threads: one on 2026-06-27 and two on 2026-06-29.
The one from 27th was set to be a permanent thread by clicking on the hourglass icon. My default settings for thread saving is now Forever, but it may not have been set to Forever when I created that thread. It was my first time testing out the Kagi Assistant.
On the 29th, I created another thread (with thread saving set to Forever) and noticed that the first thread disappeared from the threads list. When I navigated back in my browser, the old thread page gave a 404 error.
On the 29th, I created another thread, so now I have two threads in the list. I manually deleted one of them (probably the newest one, but can't confirm). And then at some point soon after the other thread disappeared automatically.

I was using latest Orion browser on Mac OS (Tahoe 26.5.1).
Possibly relevant: I think I opened the assistant page with multiple tabs at some point.
I expected the two threads that I didn't delete to remain available in my threads list.
