Hi,
I would like to provide some feedback regarding a recent change to Quick Answer.
Previously, the source footnotes were listed at the bottom of the Quick Answer section, allowing me to review all references at a glance after reading the answer. They now appear only as inline reference numbers that require hovering the mouse pointer over each one to view the corresponding source.
Personally, I find the previous layout much more convenient. Having all sources listed together at the bottom made it easy to review and verify them without having to hover the mouse pointer over every individual reference. The current approach requires more interaction and makes it less convenient to review the sources at a glance.
If this change was intentional, I would greatly appreciate an option to restore the previous layout, or at least an option to display the complete list of sources below the answer.
For reference, I am using:
- macOS Tahoe 26.5.1
- Firefox 152.0.3 (aarch64)
Thank you for your excellent work on Kagi!
