Kagi Assistant Code blank screen

As of 6/16/2026 using the Code assistant (on the pro plan) fails with a blank screen.
Network shows:

Code assistant should either work or indicate that it requires a more expensive plan

!code used to work via search, now it brings me to the assistant page, but my entire prompt gets clobbered and the page is blank, but it does create a new thread. If I then attempt anything in the thread (such as "hi"), it results in an error Model Claude 4.6 Sonnet requires Unlimited plan. I have an older thread from a day or 2 ago that does nothave this issue, but all new threads do. My usage is at $2.51/108.00 so I don't think that's it.

I'm also seeing the call to the session's /context is returning

!code starts a functioning session just like it used to

Okay, got a better understanding of the clobbering of my input, everything after !code is truncated, so if I !bang <content>, content gets clobbered, but if I content !code, then the initial prompt isn't lost. STill not a solution to actual functionality, but does at least provide a solution so I don't lose my initial inputs

@ohshazbot Thanks for the info. We believe to have found the root cause of this issue and will roll out a fix. 🙂
