I think the simplest way might be a "Small Web" article section with 1-3 links (or more in a carousel on phones). The date of the blog posts could be important to show, to set the readers' expectations on freshness and relevance. There might be very high quality posts about the history of US-Iran relations, but they might not cover what happened in the past month or so.
I'd be a great way for readers to access high quaity in-depth articles if they want to read more about a topic.
