The domain houstonmethodist.org is flagged as AI slop. It clearly isn't, but this is down ranking results from this domain. This is one of the largest medical providers in the Houston area, so not sure how this got flagged.

@nobodywasishere, I am curious: how did the Houston Methodist website come to be labeled as AI slop by Kagi?

For example, did a Kagi user incorrectly mark and submit the website as AI slop? Or, is Kagi applying a predictive model to classify each website in the search results as "slop" or "not slop"?

ctoliver94 Yes, we can mark anything under a given path on a website, or any specific page, as slop.

nobodywasishere So what happens with a site like this where the blogs are likely AI but the rest of the site is legit, just /blog/* will get marked as slop? That's awesome.

I do sympathize with some companies doing this- a lot of them don't mean harm and don't even know they're causing harm. But harm is harm so I'm glad to see a way to selectively target this.
