Hey folks!
As you see in the screenshot, there is a missing permission for using the microphone. (German Text in original). The app uses the Microphone permission. But pressing the button cause this error. It never workd for me, so that could not be a problem of the new Kagi Assistant marked for 4th of June.
System: Android 16 -> Graphene OS (Patch: 25.05.2026)
App: Kagi Search 1.0.37-PlayStore

The microphone doesnt work on Kagi Search as well, but there is no error message. Its like the button doesnt have a function.
Normally I think that Kagi Search / Kagi Assistant uses the "webkitSpeechRecognition". On Graphene OS its the "Vanadium System Webview" Maybe there is a linking error. Either its not working in the Vanadium Browser with permission active for microphone. There is no native Speech-To-Text App in use, so the "Speechrecognizer API" wont give a value back I think (?) Could this be a probkem for Kagi Search?
So what could cause this error?
Maybe implement the "onPermissionRequest-Handler?
Do I have to give any systemapp of Graphene OS permissions?
Thx for feedback :-)
