Kagi News "world temperature" confusing

Kagi's "world temperature score" on the Kagi News app isn't helpful and is at times confusing as a user.

When I see a temperature at the top of a news app, I expect that to be a weather report. I've regularly looked at it and then gone to find what localization setting is broken to give me such an inaccurate temperature report.

Moreover, it's not actionable information. How should one plan for one's day when the "world temperature" is 58 degrees F vs 47 degrees F?

If you want to give some kind of "overall vibes score" for world news, why not use a range of frowning/smiling faces or something that better communicates the idea?

The purpose of this feature isn't really to give you something "actionable", but rather to calm the nerves. Traditional news sources, and most online talking heads, tend to tell the news in a way that makes the world look far more bleak than it actually is -- and this is especially worsened by social media.

I do very much like the temperature motif, but it definitely could be given a better presentation. Perhaps it should say the word "Tension" next to the temperature?
