This is incredibly annoying for me too. I'm not using Tor, but I am using privacy pass and all of my tabs start out as a fresh browser profile with no cookies. I'm getting the turnstile every time I do a search, and it's been adding 3 seconds of latency to every query! Sometimes I have to grab the mouse to check a box, too, adding another few seconds.
Frankly, I think the turnstile is wholly unwarranted and unacceptable. The privacy pass tokens prove that I've paid for the search; it shouldn't matter whether I'm human!
