Edge Extension Parameter / Clear Bug

I noticed a "Clear" button keeps showing up when I search from the address bar. Seems like there's an additional "&source=chrome.ob" parameter added to searches. I am using Edge and the Kagi extension to set the default.

I expect to not see the "Clear" button when I'm not searching with any specific parameters.

This is still happening - as far as I can tell it's a bug - can't seem to figure out how to get it to go away by default.
