Pretty straight forward, when asking a conversion from ₩ to any other currencies, it interprets it as the North Korean won (which to be fair, is not completely wrong). I believe that most Kagi users and people in the world refers to KRW (South Korean won) when using this sign, and not KPW (North Korean won). Funilly enough, searching for "₩" on Kagi quickly gives you the wikipedia page for "South Korean won" or even gives KRW references

I expect the ₩ sign to represent KRW, for coherence in common references and coherence with Kagi results.
