I expected the programmer that coded to have been SMART ENOUGH to swap the order of the dates in the useful order in that case, given that the copy of the widget says "From date" to "To date" with no hint of order mattering at all (It shouldn't... if the programmer says so, smack them... if the UX person says so, fire them).
